Insoglio di Cinghiale, comes from three plots which comprise Campo di Sasso, west of the road which runs between Bolgheri and Bibbona in coastal Maremma, Tuscany. Sandy soils and the warmth of the lower slopes here make for a lovely, early-drinking style which and an upbeat expression of fresh fruit. It is at its best relatively young, when it offers a wonderful array of vibrant aromatics, set within a silky frame.
