Achaval Ferrer was founded by a group of Argentinian and Italian friends who loved wine and were determined to produce something outstanding – an aim encouraged by celebrated Italian oenologist Roberto Cipresso, one of the founding team.

The origins of Château Certan de May date back to the very beginnings of Pomerol. The de May family were gifted the estate by royal decree in the 16th century as a gesture of thanks for services rendered to the crown of France.

The vineyard of Château Hosanna has a long and rich history. Prior to its purchase by Ets. Jean-Pierre Moueix in 1999, Hosanna was known as Château Certan Giraud, considered one of the premier crus of Pomerol since the 1950’s.

Situated between Châteaux Lafleur and Petrus, Château La Fleur-Pétrus took its name in the 18th century. Jean-Pierre Moueix, who established his wine merchant business in Libourne in 1937, purchased La Fleur-Pétrus in 1950.

Franck Bourceau found the balance between traditional know-how and modernity. The estate is composed today of 3 different Chateaux divided on 3 appellation.

Château Latour à Pomerol, a quietly legendary property, is not a single vineyard but is comprised of many parcels with different soils, in two sections, within the heart and near the church of Pomerol.

Twin sister of Pomerol’s renowned Clos René, the vineyard of Château Moulinet-Lasserre lies on the western part of the plateau of Pomerol.

Château Plince is situated just outside the village of Catusseau in Pomerol, and has been owned by the Moreau family for over four generations.
