Domaine du Comte Armand is firmly in the very capable hands of winemaker and estate manager Paul Zinetti since 2014.
The domaine has plots in Volnay and Auxey-Duresses but it is the monopoly Pommard 1er cru Clos des Épeneaux which attracts all the attention. Under Zinetti’s tutelage, this vineyard of 5.3ha, fully enclosed in its ancestral stone wall, is handled like a true grand cru. Viticulture and winemaking are very similar to a famous single vineyard grand cru in the Cote de Nuits, to express the characters and charm of this singular plot. Release will happen later in the campaign.
The 2022 vintage wines of Comte Armand will be released in February/March 2024.
