Champagne Valentin Leflaive is the project of the Burgundian Olivier Leflaive, trying his knowledge of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in another region. The first harvest was vintage 2012 and his partner at the time was Champagne Star Erick de Sousa. Today, Valentin Leflaive is an independent House with its own team, cellar and grape supply, with Olivier at the helm. The vineyards are in la Cote des Blancs, home ground of the Chardonnay grape.
