Made up from two plots of premier cru Beaune (Epernotes and Boucherottes) and two at village level. The winemaking methods are traditional, with late harvests, natural yeasts and ageing with minimal new oak.
"Open and expressive, aromas of ripe cherries, redcurrants and espresso roast. Slight tertiary notes of mushrooms and forest characters add to the depth of complexity. Supple on the palate, silky and medium-bodied. Juicy acidity and a generous core of fruit that conceals its fine structuring tannins, concluding with a sapid finish."
