Made from local grape varieties this wine is rich, full-bodied and deep garnet in colour. The nose displays intense aromas of prunes and wild cherries with savoury toasted notes. Round and smooth on the palate this 'baby Amarone' is the perfect accompaniment to a Sunday roast, beef ragu or Turkish Musaka.
"Prolonged maceration and contact with dried grapes, used in the production of Amarone, gives this well-structured and complex wine a long, chocolatey finish, with delicious prune, cherry and savoury notes."

“Rich and full-bodied, it's a perfect match with hearty season food.”

“Oodles of black cherry and dried plum flavours along with a welcome savoury note make it the go-to wine to accompany any meaty pasta dish or ripe Italian cheese.”
Italy’s Veneto wine region has played a pivotal part in Italy’s wine culture since Roman times, boosted by its strategic location close to Venice and the Adriatic. Today the Veneto is a thriving wine region, responsible for almost a sixth of Italy’s wine production and the source of Italy’s most successful contemporary wine ‘brand’ Pinot Grigio, a light-bodied dry white wine made from vineyards on the plains. Behind Venice, the Conegliano hills are home to Prosecco, the white grape and sparkling white wine style now taking the world by storm.
