Soraie Veneto Rosso IGT Cecilia Beretta 2017

Soraie Veneto Rosso IGT Cecilia Beretta 2017

Soraie is an innovative project, aiming to put a new spin on the traditional winemaking technique called 'appassimento', which is used to make the famous Amarone wines of the Veneto region. Rich, velvety and round on the palate, with flavours of black plums, black cherry, vanilla and a moreish chocolatey finish, it's a great accompaniment to roasted red meats and ragus.

"An innovative and unique take on the Amarone style, made with a blend of international and local grape varieties, to produce a wine that is more accessible and affordable than the great Amarone wines, but with much of the character."

Behind Venice, the Conegliano hills are home to Prosecco, the white grape and sparkling white wine style now taking the world by storm.
