Corney & Barrow have been working with Chaumeau-Balland for decades. Owner and winemarker Sylvie Chaumeau runs this family estate with her son and daughter. Average age of their vines is 30 years, which means extra concentration in the grapes and greater richness. Vines are grown on clay and limestone, which explains the characteristic, flinty minerality in the wines. Great as an aperitif, this wine also pairs well with fish, shellfish and seafood, as well as goat's cheese.
