Danish born, Bordeaux-trained, Peter Sisseck believed that Ribera del Duero, relatively unknown, had the potential to produce Spain’s finest wines. High altitude, warm sunny days and cool nights would, Peter was certain, ensure wonderful complexity and vibrant freshness.
It was from this belief that the iconic Pingus was created, a wine which soared to worldwide acclaim, as did Peter’s reputation as a truly gifted winemaker. Psi is a complementary project. Peter has established a network of growers with interesting terroirs and, of course, old vines.
