This old family estate was originally a farm, but in 1991 Bernard Fleuriet decided to move into viticulture and embarked on an extraordinary project to plant the family’s land, much of which is on steep slopes in the Sancerre appellation, as well as 3 hectares a few kilometres away in Menetou-Salon. Bernard’s sons are now at the helm, working together. Benoît is focused on viticulture, while his brother Matthieu takes greater responsibility for the winemaking. They were responsible for converting the estate to organic viticulture and have been certified since 2016. They are now in the process of converting to biodynamics.
