Main Responsibilities

Maximise turnover and profit by achieving agreed KPIs.

Convert incoming leads into new business.

Promote the company’s fine wine services, including broking, storage, monopole and events.

Promote the company’s other wine services, including wines for drinking, gifting, Cellar Club, and Wine Odyssey (subscription).

Attend, host, and organise company events.
-
Support the wider team.
-
Manage a sampling and entertaining budget.
Specific Responsibilities
-
Manage an inherited database of active/semi-active private customers.
-
Formulate a sales plan to maximise sales to/re-invigorate these accounts.

Win new business through referrals and networking.
-
Contribute to buying and marketing by tasting and offer/blog writing.
Essential Requirements
-
At least two years’ experience in fine wine sales.

Excellent and wide-ranging knowledge of fine wine.

In depth knowledge of fine wine market and pricing.

Qualified to at least WSET L3.

Value relationship, spirit, excellence, and integrity.

Have great interpersonal and communications skills – be engaging, patient, persuasive and persistent.

Be goal oriented.

Able to work under pressure.

Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
OFFICE BASED ROLE AT THOMAS MORE STREET, LONDON E1W 5 DAYS PER WEEK
