The palate is deftly ripe, sweet cassis and blackberry fruit building relentlessly, with chiselled, fruit-coated tannins lending an effortless definition. Clove and sweet spices blossom on the finish. Picked from 21st September to 3rd October. 40% new French oak barrels. 2,800 cases were produced, around half the average.
