88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. 2017 was the 34th vintage of Dominus. Roses and ripe plum aromas, with fine cedary spice. The palate is deftly ripe, sweet cassis and blackberry fruit building relentlessly, with chiselled, fruit-coated tannins lending an effortless definition. Clove and sweet spices blossom on the finish. Picked from 21st September to 3rd October. 40% new French oak barrels. 2,800 cases were produced, around half the average.
