These are really exceptionally old vines, producing very little fruit - albeit intensely concentrated. The blend is complex, layered and a fitting ambassador for this lovely vintage. Cornas is known to require long ageing. This warrants some time but is more accessible than wines of old, particularly on the open, perfumed nose.
