This comes from various sites around Châteauneuf: La Crau, Les Gardioles, Cabrières, Plateau de MontRedon and Font de Michelle. 45% Grenache Blanc (60 years old), 35% Roussanne, 15% Clairette and 5% Bourboulenc. This is fermented in barrel with 12 months lees contact, half of the Roussanne being aged in new oak barrels.. Spicy and delicately pastried on the nose – an exciting promise of hedonism! The palate tingles with stone-fruited energy, reverberating, driving through to a long, succulent finish.
