Chateau Mayne-Graves 2016

Chateau Mayne-Graves 2016

Ch Maynes Graves is owned by the Guimberteau family, who are also responsible for our very successful Montagne St Emilion, Château La Courolle. The family has been running vineyards on Bordeaux’ Right Bank for over a century but they only planted this estate, Château Mayne-Graves in 2002, intrigued by the particularly gravelly terroir. The small vineyard – just 4 hectares - is situated just next to Montagne-Saint Emilion – unsurprisingly receptive to and successful with the Merlot vine.

"This offers a rather winsome claret style, devoid of hard edges, elegant and charming"
