Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Domaine Stephane Magnien 2017
"The tiny 0.19 hectare holdings here are in fact located in Mazoyeres-Chambertin, although this has always been labelled as a Charmes, as is permitted. The youngest vines are 30 years old, planted on clay-limestone subsoil. This is an intensely mineral-driven wine, with a sweetness of fruit which is so attractive. Plushly fruit-coated tannins add volume and rather majestic structure."
