Vaudésir is a glorious site: a south, south-west facing amphitheatre that favours ripeness, and is protected from northerly winds. Its unique topography and claylimestone soils yield some of the most elegant wines of all grands crus, balancing richness with mineral freshness. The 2020 is the fruit of three tiny vineyards, vinified separately in large old barrels before blending.
